Sometimes, getting people to help with your production is the hardest battle to fight.
*First of all, your thread is fighting thousands of other threads to try to stay on top and get people interested.
*Second of all, you don't even know how much experience these people have!
Getting others interested is half the battle. The other half is completing the production.
So, how can you get people wanting to join your production? How do people use invisible magnets to draw people to their productions?
First of all, don't be afraid to use the title of your production to help people recognize your production needs people. Often times, people won't bother to look at your production because they don't know if it's open or if they don't need any more people to help.
Next, use your signature! You can easily advertise and try to get people from other threads interested in your production.
Other websites sometimes have a space where you can put a website URL. If you don't have a website, put your production's link in that space! You can also use advertising threads (if there's a board for that, of course!), your signature, and even YouTube!
This might get more pageviews, but how can you balance the important information with the boring, but keep everything short enough so people don't leave because they're overwhelmed with information?
It's easy: It's all about your format.
Keep everything semi-visual. Use colorful dividers, color-code information if needed. Use lots of spaces to make text pieces seem smaller, and don't have a lot of specific information, and rules are not needed.
Go even farther: Use a video and audio service to create a nice video to post on YouTube. This way, more people get more information by hearing someone read it, or have it displayed on screen. Audio and video will help others remember things more easily.
Not getting the "visual" part of it? Look at the paragraphs below and decide which one looks better.
First, take a spoonful of sugar, then a tablespoon of butter and sleep with cute puppies. Let princesses wake you in the land of sugar castles and then ride away on a cute little chubby pony. He will lick you to death and will hug you and become your prince.
